Paint time... Now that I had all the pieces built, it was time to make the machine appear weathered. I used a combination of grey floor paint (just in case it rained) and black spray paint. Once the grey had dried, I sprayed black across the face in random directions to make the finish look as organic as possible. Then the detail elements were applied: faceplates, web wheel, pipes, grills, meter, etc. The machine was finally starting to come together.
