After constructing a graveyard for Halloween in 1999, I had a vision for Halloween 2000 to build a life size flying saucer that had crashed into our home.

Perhaps this occurred to me because of the approaching millenium, or just out of the need to do something different for Halloween. But whatever the reason, I thought it would be an entertaining project if successful. I didn't really have any sense of the magnitude of what I decided to do...

In the following pages I show a little of went into this project. The photos don't really do it justice but will give some idea of the end results for folks who were not able to see it in person.
