Each year for Halloween, I undertake a project to celebrate the season. For me, Halloween isn't just about haunted houses and graveyards – it's about decorating, entertaining and general creativity. My goal is to produce something a bit less expected than the typical horror displays in most yards.
These pages document my project for 2001 – an 11 foot tall robot, loosely modeled after the main character in the movie The Iron Giant. My creation wasn't quite as animated, but judging by the number of Halloween visitors we had, was fairly successful and entertaining.
